I have had over 30 years experience working for the NHS as a Practice Nurse and Midwife and I'm  passionate about Women's Health.  Many of the health issues that I faced as a Healthcare Professional could be managed or eased with more education, support and lifestyle changes but  there was never enough time  to  provide truly holistic care within the busy NHS setting.  I initially  qualified as an Exercise Specialist  ( Ante and Post Natal Exercise and  Working with Clients  with Chronic Health Conditions)  which  complemented my NHS role .

With so many women coming to me, desperate for perimenopause and menopause support, I  knew that I needed to go much deeper to be able to provide the best evidenced-based information and support to offer a truly bespoke service.   My wish was for for an education programme that was led by experts in their field and  had an equally strong physiological,  psychological,  social and spiritual approach.  I found this with  Burrell Education where I studied and  qualified as a Peri to Post-Menopause Transition Coach.

I've always felt very strongly that high quality care should be available to everyone, so I've always been involved in community projects, working with various councils to offer affordable options along side the private services that I offer.

I was led to my love of pilates after the shock of needing spinal surgery 8 years ago.  It became apparent  that I had wide-spread degeneration in my lower back and realising that I needed to modify some of my activities, I obtained a Diploma in Mat Pilates with various specialities, including working with clients with arthritis. Although I've had to change some of my own activities, I have a 'can do' approach that I love to encourage in those I work with. I love wild swimming and ballet for stress relief and aerial hoop for strength.
